While Arron and Dustin were off playing soccer yesterday, Emmett and I tried to tackle some gardening and repotting our house plants. Emmett pretty much ran around in the back yard eating dirt and collecting pinecones while I tried to get things done. It's near impossible to complete any task I start when I have Emmett as my little helper. lol

Isn't it a sign that the child is vitamin deficient when they start eating weird things? lol I guess he just likes mud!

Look at that messy hair! I've been getting mixed reviews, some say cut it and some say keep it. I think we'll keep it just a little longer... I just LOVE the curls!

Emmett is lucky that his brother Glenn isn't old enough yet to pay him back for all the times he has tried (and succeeded) to wake him up from a deep sleep, because that is clearly the look of a little boy plotting his revenge! lol

Emmett is quite the little dancer lately. He especially loves the theme song to the show 'BONES'. Every time he hears it he stops everything and immediately starts dancing. The other day I found the full length version of the song on youtube and played it for him. It was so cute that I quickly turned on the laptop camera to catch his dancing on video. We had our own little baby 'photo shoot' today and posted here are some of the results.

For the most part, Emmett does pretty good with little Glenn but every now and then he is WAY to rough with him (as you can see demonstrated in the second picture) It's all love though! He doesn't mean to hurt him, he just doesn't quite understand yet how delicate his brother is. We are very lucky because so far we haven't had any problems with jealousy from Emmett, which I've been told can be a nightmare to deal with. Glenn is growing more and more everyday. He is 1 week and 1 day old and he has already gained a pound, which isn't surprising to me at all because he wants to nurse non-stop! All in all, things are going wonderfully here in the Carnahan house with babies times two and Dustin too!

GLENN CHARLES CARNAHAN has arrived!! Born at home on 02/10/2011 at 3:08 am. He was 8 lbs 4 oz and 20.5 inches long.

Everything worked out beautifully and we are all happy and healthy!!
