I've been trying to get Emmett to open up his hands and reach for this elephant for weeks and today he finally did it!! I was on the phone with Arron when I looked over and he was pulling on it. You can't imagine how excited I was! I literally jumped up and started clapping! lol

Gotta love it! Oh the things that mother are amused by...

Anyway, so I tried to catch it on video and this is the best I got. Enjoy!

The Jeep

Emmett is really starting to enjoy his Jeep. He can now reach the floor with both feet and can almost bounce but hasn't quite figured it out yet. I really like putting him in it everyday. It gives the back of his head a break. He has literally rubbed all the hair off the back of his head from looking back and forth so much and not being able to lift his up on his own.

I can not believe how fast he is growing!! It was just a few weeks ago that he couldn't sit up in the Jeep without support pillows and now look at him!

Arron took the baby upstair today to change his dirty diaper. After 20 minutes passed, I took the camera to investigate what the hold up was. It's a good thing I usually do the diaper/clothes changing.... we'd never make it anywhere on time! lol

After Emmett was finally dressed, he and Arron went to enjoy a little radio show known as the Tow Away Zone with J. Charles

The first picture is Emmett with his new favorite monkey blankie. We've been having him sleep with it at night so that the transition to sleeping in his own bed away from mom and dad will be easier. He absolutely loves it!!

The rest of the pictures were taken over the weekend. We visited Grandpa and Grandma Carnahan and we went to the Sommers' house for Brian's birthday. Emmett got to hang out with Brain and Jill's baby Sabrina and also with Neil and Marie's not-so-baby Makayla (shes almost two). Sabrina is the little baby in the second picture. He is literally twice her size, as she weighs 8 lbs and he of course is 16 lbs.

Emmett learned how to splash in the bathtub this week and I just happened to catch it on video (after about 4 days and 50 different takes lol)! Enjoy
